This version of the Spitfire was rushed off the drawing boards to combat the threat of Germany's Fw-190 'Butcher Birds' during World War II. With production reaching nearly 5,600 aircraft by the end of the war, this kit showcases one of the most produced Spitfire versions.

Featuring the 'c' version wing armament layout with 2 20mm cannon, you have the option to build either the 'normal' elliptical wings or the clipped type seen on some early Spits.
